I'm cruising around on here and see a picture of someone's new purchase of a Mazda3. Looking at the pics I see a lot of similarities between the front bumper cover on it and my '03 ES Pro. Anyone have any idea if this is a doable switch? I realize it would probably also require the bumper reinforcement, but if the fender mount holes lined up it would be pretty easy. To me the 3 cover combines elements of the P5 and my ES, and would be a nice upgrade to make it stand out.

 

it wont even be close...the 3's new chasis is 100% different and shares almost NO original protege dimensions.

 

I kind of thought so, but thanks for the info. Just have to figure something else out.
