Just found some Angel Eyes...

Just found some angel eyes fog lights (fog lights with a ring around them). But the size is 4 1/2 inch in diameter. Would I be able to replace the factory fog lights for these??? How well would it fit? I think the factory fog lights are 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Thanks

Hey man, where did you find the foglights, what's the URL? Sorry I can't help answer your question though, but I'll talk to a few friends of mine and see if they know. Thx.

I was gonna buy a set for my car but they were too big. The ones I was looking for were on the Toucan site under eurolite, I believe. I think they were like 7" or close to. IMO they are one of the best looking fog lights, if not the hottest.

I found it in ebay.

The key words are "Angel Eyes" and its made by Hella. I also found it at Pep Boys for only $59.00 US Dollars! I wanted to buy it right then, but was not sure if it would fit alright. Any input is appreciated. Thanks! I'll post the direct internet address.

Here it is...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1875201633 I also looked into the APC ones (package comes in 7 adjustable colors!!!), also the size is about 4 to something like 4 1/2 inches also. APCs repuatation is.... . Anyways I like Hella's so if they will fit alright I'll get them. Any input is good input, whether you like them or not. They do look much better in person. The package at Pep Boys came with a "trial button" and when pushed the Angel Eyes come on!!! I want them! I want them! I want them!!!

Are the angel eyes legal??

I live in California and we got lotta rules on mods!!! Are they angel eyes legal to have as fog lights? If they're not, then I'll just switch them to "light on only" (without the angel eyes on) when I drive. I need a little more distance on light then the factory fog lights, especially after lowering my car, the fogs are literally useless to me

So it's still illegal to drive with just the fog lights on, just like turning on the factory fog lights?? Without turning on the Angel Eyes? Why?

Thanks Admin.

I really like the looks of the Angel Eyes (like you said, just for looks), but the light kit comes with a switch that has 3 options: 1) Angel Eyes on only, 2) Fog lights on only, 3) All lights Off. If I switch to fog lights on only when there's fog... is that legal? I mean the Angel Eyes won't be on. That should be ok, right?? The cops wouldn't know that the fog lights aren't OEM. Thanks again for helping me with this

Thanks again Admin

I'll do either one that you've mentioned when I turn on the fogs. I like the look of parking lights on with the fogs Are there any legality issues regarding having 2 sets of fogs (1 set of OEM and 1 set of aftermarket) on the car at a time? Can we turn on both sets of fogs at one time?? I won't be aiming it towards traffic. The main reason I got these are to assist a little with getting more light in front of me, not to blind oncoming traffic (plus I love the Angel Eyes). Thanks again Admin Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I got Angel Eyes!!!

Just got them installed!!!!!!!! I am so stoked!!! I took out the original fog lights (cause they didn't do anything and the visibility was only about 2-3 feet in front of the bumper after I lowered the car), and replaced them with the Angel Eyes!!!! The rings light up a little blue, so it actually looks brighter than the BMWs!!! The switch allows 3 settings; 1) All off, 2) Angel Eyes only, 3) Fog lights only. They are considered driving lights so they don't shine to the sides, but that's ok. The Cool Blues that I have for driving lights do justice for seeing lanes to the sides... but man do I LOVE THESE ANGEL EYES!!!!!

Hey man if you get a chance, would you mind posting some pics? I still haven't had the chance to run down to Pep Boys and check them out. They are working me like a dog here recently, but i guess i can't complain when i get my nice checks

Sorry man...

I don't have a digital camera, sorry. But let me tell you... you will love it!!! The lamp is smaller than factory fogs though, if you don't mind. I got about 1/2 clearence all around the Angel Eyes... hope you understand... OK, the Angel Eyes are smaller than the factory fog lights, about 1 inch smaller in diameter, so the light kinda sits in the middle of the "hole", but it doesn't bother me The lens is clear and it rests at about the same location as the factory fogs... Go there tomorrow and GET THEM. The package comes with a "sample battery" inside so you can see the Angel Eyes light up by pushing a button that says, "Press to See Angel Eyes"... and I fell in love with it!!! Good luck and let me know if you like them or when you get them installed!!
