Listen IF YOUR PAYING PEOPLE TO DO THE WORK YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN COMPETITION< ANYBODY CAN POINT AND SAY DO THIS DO THAT, THE REAL TUNERS ARE THE ONE WHO DO THE WORK AND DONT PAY FOR IT, IF THAT WERE THE CASE I WOULD HAVE REPECT FOR BASKETBALL PLAYERS AS TUNERS AS THEY HAVE PIMPING RIDES< BUT ALL THEY DO IS PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THERE WORK. IF YOU WANT TO IMPRESS JUDGES DO PROFESIONELL WORK< TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE SURE YOU PREP EVERYTHING PROPORLY AND DO A GOOD JOB, IF YOU PAY FOR ALL YOUR WORK TO GET DONE YOUR A PUNK, AND HAVE NO PLACE AS A TUNER, YOUR NOTHING BUT A BUYER, PUNK

I do all my work with me and my friends. We try to buy the right tools for the job and do whatever we can to do the work ourselves. People that just pay for something to be done professionally are kewl by me UNTIL they claim that they customized their rides. its their rides that are customized because they didn't do the customizing themselves.

now on subject....

I am spraying my ENTIRE interior. not like just about every protege I've ever seen. All proteges I've seen have sprayed the parts they can easily unbolt or pop outta place to spray. that paint job is excellent on ur interior and its ur money spend as you wish. that painting is awsome though. ... but as for the guy that says that its only show quality if a shop does it in other words thats a load of crappa... Me and my buds will go to a paint shop buy a few Pints of a paint color and load it up in our gravity fed paint guns and spray just like a professional. No we dont have a huge paint booth that heats up but that only lets the paint cure faster the way we do it we just have to wait longer for it to dry.

basically put.... Anyone can do a purty paint job when using the right tools. usin a spray can is deadly to do but can be made just as perfect as any professional painter. just because something is done cheaply doesnt mean its cheap.

I understand what you guys say about doing it yourself. BUT not all people have the skill, time, or the money for all of the necessary equipment. I may be taking this way out of context but some people have a limit to their skills. Interior painting can really be done by any "joe shmoe". But who here can mold parts to a car and then paint the car and make it look proffesional? If they can do half their care themselves and the rest by a pro then I think that's just as good as the rest. Now if the guy has everything done by a pro then yeah he doesn't deserve any credit. That's like my brother wants to put his Lancer into shows. He wants to put a design on the outside and have it flow into the interior as well. He is able to get a guy to paint some interior parts for free. But we are going to design his speaker set up and make it.

Painting your own

Listen, up cause I cant type verry fast so Im only going to type it once more. IF YOU PAY PEOPLE TO DO YOUR CUSTOMIZING YOU DONT BELONG IN tuner COMPETITIONS, ITS ALL GOOD IF YOU JUST DRIVE AROUND AND ****< BUT ONCE YOU ENTER THE CAR INTO COMPOTITION AS A TUNER, IF YOU HAVNT TUNED YOUR CAR, SOME SHOP DID IT, YOUR A PuNK. YOU CAN ENTER YOUR RIDE INTO COMPETITIONS FOR BEST TUNED CAR< BUT WHEN IT COMES TO THE WORK< THEsE ARE COMPETITIONS FOR Tuners who Tune there cars and THERE IS NOTHING HATED MORE THAIN A POSER.

AS for for only painting the peices that are easy to come out, Listen The reason I painted my trim was to add contrast, IF I PAINTED EVERYTHING ONE COULEUR THERE WOULDNT BE ANY CONTRAST< and IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT EVERYTHING In THE PROTEGE INTERer COMES OUT EASY & IT WOULD LOOK STUPID I FIND WITH THE REVERSED COULEUR SCEAM OR ALL 1 COULEUR.

SO PRE TELL WHY YOU WOULD PAINT IT ALL ONE COULEUR< or ARE YOU JUST BEING A JACK ***?

So, basically since I have had Katzkin leather seats and door panels installed by a vinyl shop then in your mind I'm not allowed to be in a car show?

**** off.
