Question Painting Interior

Hello! has anyone painted there interior b4? like the dash/doors?? its just a thought in my mind, for a lil' project i want to do....is it a good thing?? whats the right paint i should use?
any thoughts/suggestions??

Yes, I agree. I've done it. It's a hassle and comes out like ****. I had it down to a science and it's still stupid looking. Don't do it.

I painted all the plastic pieces to match my Sunlight Silver exterior. Takes a while to dismantle the doors and such but it turned out pretty good. I'm going to redo it with paint that is actually the same paint code as the exterior because i want it to be a little more metallic. Sorry no pics and its hard to notice since the 2003 P5's come with the pieces already painted silver...go figure.

I agree. It does usually end up horribly. Trust me. I am instead going to save up the money and get the fiberglass look done.

if u know what you're doing, then it comes out alright, but yeah its not the greatest and yes i dont think it should be a permanent thing but heres a pic if ur interested of my car how it is now ... but soon to change

Hey MIA, are you planning on going with a fiberglass look? That is what I want to do, and then get my seats upholstered and a carpet kit.

u mean like the wings west yellow pro ??? if so, no ... im going all leather !! roof and all and then the carpet redone of course ... whole interior is going to be different ... im still waiting for those pics proto2k lol

the fiber glass sounds like it'll come out nice.
my interior is tan and the body of my car is blk...so i wanted to just add some color in the inside.

My current car has the center console and gauge surround painted and I think it looks great. I had it professionally done, don't think I could do nearly as good a job.

i painted my altima yellow/blue interior, and it looks good, i'm going to do my protete blue interior, and black/blue leather seats......if done right and not overdone, it can look great
