Info abt speaker replacements in a 94 Protege LX
Hey wassup ull,
I am a newbie in the car audio field... but anyway, I wanted to replace the front and rear speakers in my car. If im not mistaken, I think the stock speakers in the front and rear are of the same size, i.e. 5.25". My question is, can I replace the front with 6.5's and the rear with 6 X 9's??
What kinda problems would I run into in doing the change??
Another question, If i wanted to install a 4 channel amp, would i need to change the wiring or what would i need to do?
thanks in advance for all ur help

actually blue, 6.5's will fit directly into the front doors granted that the mounting depth is under 1 3/4 (1.75) inches.
hard to find a good speaker with shallow depth as such, but great bass. my four 6.5 inch speaks are hitting great for their size off my amp.. i'm happy
.
peace
