I have 2 10" blue neons under each side of the dash in my 02 p5. To wire them up i did it to the back of the cigarrette lighter. If your lights came with a cig. lighter adapter on the end, you can just cut it off and separate the wires. These will hook up to the positive and negative wires found in the dash behind the lighter. On the passenger side theres a panel over the heating vent by your feet that pops off. Behind it you will find the wires that go to the back of the lighter (theres a little plastic clip on them, unhook it for more slack). Just splice these wires and hook up the lights however u want (make sure you match up the power and the ground). i used 16 gauge speaker wire and a parrallel circuit with a toggle switch and inline fuse holders for my lights. It was an easy job, took under 30 mins. The hard part is finidng good spots to mount the lights. I used zip ties once i found good positioning.
