Question Coin Holder

Anyone have any clever ideas on a coin holder for 3rd Gen? I was really hoping to somehow use the ashtray and put one of those plastic spring loaded jobers in. I found a guy that took a GM coin holder and shaved off the sides a little and it fit in his ashtray on his Miata. Just curious if anyone has done anything.

What is the pocket for just below the switch that turns on the fog lights(MP3)? You know on the left side of the steering wheel and close to the hood release.
There is a little pocket there that I use for my coins.

Ah ha! When I first saw that little slot/holder I thought it might be for coins, but I thought...naaa that's not big enough for quarters! LOL But that doesn't hold many coins and is kind of akward. I ordered that GM coin holder (spring loaded like a poker chip holder) and will be mod'ing it to fit my ashtray. I'll let you all know how it goes!

Oh and MP3-Owner....I use that pocket you're talking about for my round tire guage, nice and quick access :-)

I got some of that black wide mesh rubber stuff for my cup holders, that little cubby, and glove box that looks pretty sweet and eliminates the sliding/rattling if anyone wants more info let me know.

Thanks for the info!

Ok, i use my ashtray for coins, that little cubby thing for my garage door opener, and the actual coin thing(the thing that holds like 5 coins) as a quick access quarter slot when i need quarters quik(like when im getting fast food or going to go buy a slurpee or something, heh). thanks

I think hes talking about the stuff you might use to put under rugs to keep them from sliding or something to that effect.

Here's the mesh in my cup holders and front bin. I also put it in the bin under the fog light toggle, and middle consel. I don't have it stuck at all, I may experiement a little with that, but it works pretty good just sitting down in there. It comes in rolls and you can get it at like Target, WalMart, AutoZone, PepBoys, etc.
