If I was ever hassled about the legality of these corners I would add some amber side markers - something like this (Photoshop job...):
Another option that would work would be to open up the clear corners and put either a coat of clear amber paint on the chrome reflector portion or a layer of orange reflective tape cut to fit the shape. I do not relish the idea of opening up the lights though.

I'm glad they don't have an amber reflector.
Make's it look so much cleaner on the front ...at least it has a projector.
I wouldn't mind adding some hyperwhite's to the corners but I wouldn't want to get pulled over ...then they would probably start looking at my tint too ..

I really love the Diamond clear corners.. I've had them since February.. no fogging, perfect fit to the fenders.. very very nice stuff.
Aftermarket turn signal bulbs don't seem to work well with Proteges.. I had a set of PIAA 1157 hyperwhites in the past as well as some generic blue bulbs.. and both of them set off the fast-blinking mode every so often, randomly.. even when i tried putting the bulbs in time after time, cleaning the socket, etc.. I decided my sockets are just posessed and bought some amber 1157 (Long Life) at autozone.. and all is good
Negatize, your car keeps looking better and better.
