Question cleaning valve cover

what you guy use to clean the crude off the valve cover?
mine has little dots of what looks to be just dust, but it stays on there like glue.

Simple Green

I use the "Simple Green Foamer" on things like that. the spots usually come off instantly. I even use it to clean my wheels. You can get the product at Auto Zone.
