EGR valve cleaning solved low-idle

I was experiencing extremely low idle while at stoplights, and occasionally the car would almost stall. Idle was down around 300-500rpm. I used a great post w/ pictures from the other Protege forum to remove the EGR valve. Sure enough, it was stuck in the open position, and pretty forcefully stuck there. Carb cleaner didn't do much to loosen it, but PBreaker (or something like that) penetrating oil worked well. Here's the howto post:

PS: Once the EGR valve was removed via 2 12mm bolts, I had to cut 2 of the 4 screws that hold the solenoid body to the valve body, and replace them w/ new hardware.
