CDN Leather Interior + heated seats

Hi all,

I've been looking around for some leather seats covers and have been talking to my dealership. They put me in contact with a dealership in the city, Halifax NS, for pricing and availability. Here's what i found out today.

You can get a leather seat conversion from a place in Vancouver BC. The price quoted to me was about $2000 for a full leather interior with heated seats on driver and passanger. Here's the cost breakdown:

Leather interior: $1,150
Embroidery: $125 ( was a Protege 5 on the seat backs)
Installation: $300

Heated Seat driver side: $225
Heated Seat Passanger: $175

Total: $1975 before tax.

Just thought I would pass that along if anyone else was interested in pricing the conversion. I'm still debating myself as it's a fair amount of money. Of course I have a cold right now and about 1ft of snow outside so heated seats are sounding pretty good.

I have looked at getting the covers from the states but it looks to be about $700 US for the covers = $1,050 CDN and I'd have to install myself. So it looks like not too bad a deal. they sent me some pics and if you are interested I can forward them to you. send me a pm if you want them

Or someone can tell me how to post pictures without needing a website!

that's it from the East Coast. Hope you all have a good winter
