i just bought the car about a month ago i knew the heated seats didn't work but i was wonder if it might be a easy cheap fix or do i have to replace the whole seat to fix it. they don't head and when u turn the swich on it doesn't even light to show that it is trying to heat.

The system is pretty simple, that light in the switch just says there is power leaving the switch - since its not lighting i'd look at the fuses first.

where would the fuse be?

look at the inside panel above the passenger foot well - that's the inside fuse box, officially called the passenger junction box (PJB). the lid lists all the fuses & locations.

Sorry to thread jack, but I have a somewhat similar issue. My seats heat up just fine, but the light on either button never turns on. Anyone have any ideas?

probably light bulb does not work in the switch
