ive got a 1 farad fosgate capacitor with my system which consists of one 500 watt fosgate amp and a 200 watt fosgate amp...when i first installed the system, my lights were cool, what i mean by cool is that they werent dimming...now after a couple of months, my lights are dimming when i have my music at my usual listening volume...my question is, does a capacitor lose its charge after awhile, ive that cap for almost two years...any suggestions or input would be appreciated, would a deep cycle battery help like a yellow top optima or should i get a new cap or wire up another battery just for the hell of it...
