capacitor
I installed a 1.5 farads KRack Capacitor, and have 3 concerns...
1.- I'm Afraid it will explode if someone put a clip between the terminals.. it will go boom.... so i need to find some kind of isulation that looks good, so electric tape its out od the question....
2.- Krack Audio??? never heard of it, but the person who sold it toldme its ok, and he was won the local audio show 4 years in a row... so it apears to know a little bit of audio...
3.- the led numbers are always on... well not always but if I open a door it will turn on

With 1.5 farads the only thing that'll go boom is whatever shorted them out. Caps shouldn't explode unless they are way overtemperature or over voltage which vaprorizes the insides. Shorting them out repeatedly could heat them up but it's more likely to burn out open circuit. The can's won't explode though, at worst they will spew electrolite fluid all over through a vent cap or rubber plug that's designed to burst before the metal can explodes.
To protect them you can mount some plexiglass or something as a shield over the whole cap - then you'll have no issues.
Good luck

With respect to the LED numerical display, when power is being used from the battery, the capacitor tries to compensate and maintain a full charge. So probably when u open your doors the house light comes on or maybe you disarm your alarm to open the doors and the cap will come on because it realises that something used power and tries to gain it back. Most caps have a built in circuitry where it comes on for a few seconds then goes off... so u dont have to worry about it...
