good luck......try finding a GT instead...or going just osuth of the border to get a LX.....hard to find the DOHC up here...

I've seen more GT's THan LX's

Try Ebay. They sometimes have Proteges selling for pretty cheap on there.

Even LXs up here don't have DOHC. The only first gen protege with DOHC engine in canada is the GT.

Escort/Tracer? Same car??? Are you mad??? Ok, they are based on the same chassis, and have the same motor/drivetrain, but good god, Ford screwed up everything else. The interior is so ghetto, and neither car has the classy lines of a Protege.
