DC Protege's, out there?

Hey, whats going on out there? Looking for a few fellow protege owners. Whats the deal on the street? Since moving from Florida I have no idea where to run my car for 1/4 mile times, dyno, etc. Heard of a place called Altered Atmosphere for tunes and dyno. Any word on that?

most of us DC/VA owners browse on www.msprotege.com

Welcome to the area There are several tracks, not to sure what part of VA you are from, but MIR (MD International Raceway) may be the closest.

Well for a good 1/4 mile track, check out 75-80 Dragway up in Frederick Co., MD. I hope to run my car there this season. Also for some awesome track racing, take a trip out to Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia; they have frequent open-track days where you can go out with an instructor and tear up the track (and hopefully not your car). I hope that was helpful. Give a holler if you'd like to race sometime.

Great, thanks. Im in the Falls Church, VA area. I would love to attach a picture of my MSP, how did you all do that? Like your black MSP, I have the same one, however I wasted about $1,600 putting a Wings West kit on it. Should have put it into tuning. Only put about $1,400 in tuning. You have any plans for your MSP? Be carefull with the boost controller on the MSP, can only do 10 psi, however looking at get a fuel cut defenser from joepmbc.com will allow up to 15 psi. I hope??

Couple of tracks in the Richmond area that are good. Been to Virginia Motorsports Park a few times and have enjoyed it. Several places in Richmond that offer dynoing also.
