squeeking brakes

my car only has 22,000 miles on it. shouldn't the factory brakes last longer than that? the braking seems real good in my car, but everytime im in reverse to back up, my brakes make this loud rubbing sound and kinda grab, anyone encounter that problem, or know what my problem is?

Have you examined the pads for wear? Are there any scuffs on the rotors?
