will these work? i bought mazdaspeed springs and im gonna install them soon, how hard is it and are these even compatible?


i drive a 99 ES 1.8L btw

 

I have Mazdaspeed springs with stock struts on My 2001LX 2.0 for a while now ,i have had no problems so far . I find that the combo is great ,no problems with the handling . Another year will see if I have extra wear ,I have put 40,000 Kms on this combination so far .

 

so is there anything else that I must replace or anything? so its just a part for part thing right?

I just swapped the springs and cut the bump stops by 1" .Every thing bolted back to gether . You will have to use a spring compressor to take the struts apart . To put them back together ,a compresser is need for the fronts . The rear yu can just put back together ,however make sure the spring is seated properly
