Loud Creeking Sound from Rear End

The noise occurs usually when I get started or when I come to a stop. When driving it seems to be quiet! My thoughts are link arm and bushings, but I am open to suggestions. Thanks!

Can you bounce the car/push the side/whatever to make the noise?

Try a shot of silicon spray at diffent points and test to see if that stops the noise - it will help isolate to the affected part.

Good luck and report back.

I purchased the Sway Bar Bushings from the Dealer and took them to my neighborhood repair shop to have them installed. The creaking sound is no longer there. Thank you to macdaddyslomo and everyone else for their advice I appreciate it.

nope. it's your sway bar bushings again..it's a poor design by Mazda...there is a fix...look on msprotege for rear sway bar fix...

AWR offers it...that's why I forwarded you there...some urethane bushings will hold up longer too

The creak on my car was from a worn stabilizer bar endlink. Go figure hey?
