Emergency Brakes

Ok. Some will laugh, but i let a friend drive my car, and the dumbass drove about 2 kilometers or less with the emergency brake on. Now theres a stench outside of burnt rubber.

What the hell happened? should i check it out, or will it be ok?

As for my friend, shall I brake his legs?

1. If there is no discoloration on the rotor and they roll nicely (no warping evident) - it just used up some brake pad life. If the rotor is discolored - i would change it and thoroughly flush the brake fluid (burnt). Chamge the pads if glazed or sand them down some.

2. No damage? make him detail yer car! Damage? He pays for labor and half the parts.
