Emergency Brakes

Ok. Some will laugh, but i let a friend drive my car, and the dumbass drove about 2 kilometers or less with the emergency brake on. Now theres a stench outside of burnt rubber.

What the hell happened? should i check it out, or will it be ok?

As for my friend, shall I brake his legs? :)

1. If there is no discoloration on the rotor and they roll nicely (no warping evident) - it just used up some brake pad life. If the rotor is discolored - i would change it and thoroughly flush the brake fluid (burnt). Chamge the pads if glazed or sand them down some.

2. No damage? make him detail yer car! ;) Damage? He pays for labor and half the parts.
