AWR 6-piece rear link set

I was wondering if anyone has used the 6-piece rear link set from AWR on a P5.

I just finished the suspension on my P5 with new struts, springs, sway bars, 215/40 Proxes on 17” Volks, and a lot of custom tweaking. It grips like crazy now, but the rear end sway is way more noticeable. It feels like I’m pulling a trailer when I do a quick lane change or a little slalom. When cornering the rear body sways (not rolls) against the stock bushings until it bottoms them out. It’s that jolt when they bottom that’s unsettling. Back and forth like in slalom, it’s really bad. Feels like a fish trying to swim up stream. The tires stay connected, but the body's all over the place. I kind of suspected this would be the case, after all it is a wagon, but didn’t think it would be this bad until I got the tires on and everything dialed in.

Anyway, I have a good feeling I’ll be getting the AWR rear links and bushings, but figure that’ll probably lead to spherical strut bearings, and maybe the front control arms as well. Anybody have any feedback on these parts? Is it worth the extra grand or so? I know it’ll ride rough, but I think I pretty much crossed that bridge already.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a car that could corner faster than my motorcycle, and right now I’m on that edge. Looking forward to running my bud in his new 337 now.

The Protege/Protege5 will outhandle any MKIV Jetta/Golf/GTI anyday of the week...their suspensions are whats holding them back. I'd take take em both on some good twisties and you'll easily beat him!
