Woo-woo! Got my VICS recall....

Hey, not really. I'm not driving a "covered" vehicle.

However, looks like we're going to do it ourselves...and to get the ball rolling my hubby (who now works for Mazda [again]) got me this:

The screws are pre-loctited

ummm if you are taking the whole damn manifold off,why not just get rid of the VTCS ???

Fix the VICS...remove the VTCS...replace gaskets as necessary.

This is the package that the Mazda techs get when you lucky folks go in to get your warranty VICS recall done. I am not-so-lucky so we are doing it ourselves. As an added bonus, we are doing the rear motor mount while it's all apart.
