I would agree with don668 and funkdaddysmack, car do get a little faster after they have been driven for a while. I was just reading a mag. and their Audi TT lost over ¼ second in the zero to 60 and was showing a few horses. Not exactly masive gains, but it was noticable. I have had my Protege 5 to about 120 on a 5 mile bridge here. I have had my civic to almost 130 on that same bridge. The only way to get into trouble is to pass a police car that is going accross the bridge. There is no shoulder....

only 170km/h (105mph) but I got snow tires on so I don't wan't to push it.

Waiting for good weather to give here a push. I had my last car (98 Prelude) up to 220km/h (135mph).

180 km/h (112 mph) yesterday, my red 323F has just 600 km (373 miles) so I'm still being conservative with the engine.

I reved up to 4.500 rpm in each gear and it took very little to go that fast. Impressive.

the bridge and tunnel do have cameras however they don't monitor anything other than accidents and traffic jams. The bridge I was refering to is the James River Bridge. Five miles of perfectly straight road.

The one time I sped across that bridge I had a cop on my *** right afterwards. Luckily a Jeep wasn't paying attention and ran a light right next to me.

110 with one passenger, on the highway, starting from 80. Cold night, about 40F. All Stock Pro 5 5sp. 10,500mi She would not go ANY faster... was actually kind of wobbling between 107?-110 for about 4-5 minutes. Not much wind. Damn Probe and '02 Celica got away

My old '91 Accord did 120 with no prob in Montana and still had room to talk. 120k mi (she's dead now, not my fault! )

Yep 185 here too [kph].

You're all right I can go faster but damned if I have the patience to wait for it. Goes to about 170 perfect. Takes a while to get to 185. Creeps after that and I don't have the patience to do it. Nor the nerve to continously run the car at such a high rev for so long.

I've done 126 in my MP3 but I had my fat *** 6'2" 230 lb Little brother with me. At about 120 the needle goes so slow and I did not want to try and push it much more.

after 170 km/h i think its a drag problem, need a turbo for more brut force!
