You can get an AEM or Injen CAI for over $200 and see a gain of 2-4 hp. Or you can get a SRI intake for under $100 and see the same kind of gains.

the header is a good mod but it will make your car much louder
the intake /exhaust is still ok with the noise levels..

I wanted to be alittle different, so i took off my wipers (front and back) and spray painted them the color of my car, which is vivid yellow. It gives it a unique look. You'll be getting alot of compliments. :-)

speaking of mods

I was thinking of doing some mild aesthetic mods for my protege ES model. And there is one item that stands out the most .... the sliver pannel at the trunk, where you can put the key in to open the trunk, sorta like a handle bar (sorry for the poor description). I'd like to change it so that its black and not sliver anymore so that it matches better with the rest of my car. I didn't really care about it at first but over time it started to stick out. Got any ideas? I dont' know how to change it, whether I spray paint it black which i dont' think is the right idea, or take it out and replace it with a new one again dont' think right thing to do, or possible. Obviously i'm new to the whole customizing you car, so please be patient with me... i'd appreciate any help you could give.
