What should I pay for a 2K3 ES Auto??

Everyone,

This is my first post here and I need some help. My girlfriend is buying a 2K3 ES with an auto tranny. She wants the Moonroof/CD package and the auto dimming mirror with the compass. This car has an Invoice of 16.9k which includes destination. I have no idea what Proteges sell for. I am in the Chicagoland area if that helps as well.

Can she get it for 1k, 2k, nothing, under invoice??? We're going to the dealer today, so your help is greatly appreciated.

I pretty much paid invoice for my LX...with 0% apr. You should do the same or better.

Well, she ended up paying around $500 under invoice... I think she got a pretty good deal. She also qualified for the $500 recent college grad and another $500 for the auto-show rebate. So all together, she paid $1500 under invoice with the 0% financing...

What do you think?
