i asked on 247 and rpm said i can take it off. so i'll have to cut it off i guess. it just slides down the wire and then get stopped at a piece on it. also, he said not to just plug it in and check, it might damage the kit, so i am going to go see if i can borrow a multimeter from a neighbor i reckon

later i'll try to disguise the ballasts more. but...to aim my lights, i marked a spot on my garage door, w/ a pencil of course, where the halogens landed, and then lowered these a lil lower than that mark. is that ok? my car was in the same spot the whole time.

for all p5 owners: the HOT side: when holding the stock harness with the t part facing UP, the hot side is the left side. will look something like this, the "t" facing up. HOT is the left terminal

do you have the pic on that extra lip on top of the lid? i dont understand how it would attach it all the others i've seen dont have that on them

IT'S ALIVE! now to put my bike back on the roof rack and go for a drive

it purrs like a kitten and is so much more quiet at idle

at this point I think all the pb blaster and seafoam deep creep is burned off so I'm gonna wash up and go for a victory drive.
