the ford Mustang uses motorcraft sparkplugs and their are not 4 prong. The silverado uses AC Delco, for those years and almost all new cars come stock with platinum plugs not of the 4 prong variety

Thanx for all the responses guys!

I'm researching some suspension mods... and air intakes atm.

My buddy got a turbo for his p5 last week... i'm planning on talking to him about that too.

The reason for the camber kit is b/c if you drop a car 1.5 inch, you will have some negative camber which will make your tires wear unevenly and you won't get much life from the tire. Go 20k miles on neg camber and see how much tire you have left. Also if you have negative camber, the tire is not supporting the weight of the car equally causing it to handle worse.
Negative camber will not make your car handle worse all together...

It will decrease braking and acceleration traction, but increase cornering traction. When you fly into a corner the weight loads up on the outside tires. If you have a little neg. camber the weight will roll the tire onto its maximum grip patch, which will give you more traction. Do the same with 0 degrees of camber and the weight loads up on the outer tread of the tire and sidewall (sometimes)

Also you don't need to get a camber kit to lower your car. This is one of the reasons to get it properly aligned at shop

back to the original topic......

I'm sorry you bought an auto but you shoulda taught your wives to drive.
I will get married one of these days but i will draw the line somewhere.

there are rare circumstances, but 3 cars that I'd find acceptable w/ an automatic:

Mercedes 500E
Pontiac GTO
Bentley Turbo R

what do these have in common you ask? (enough torque to pull a house off its foundation, great but not exactly ultra-agile handling... you might as well sit back and plant your right foot and vaguely aim for where you want to go)

I was about to add BMW 740/750l to that list of 3, which are great cars genetically. But at that price range you're pretty much a castrated moron if you don't get two loaded M3's or one loaded M5. A BMW w/o a manual transmission is HERESY worthy of the witch trials.

BMW actually makes more efficient and responsive autos then Merc though.

The mighty 750iL, with its 4500+lb curb weight, can rip off sub 6 second 0-60's. Even the new 745i, which doesn't have the v-12 but a stronger v8 than the older 740, can pull to 60 in 5.9 seconds. All of those cars have fully automatic transmissions.

I agree though, BMW has some of crispest feeling gearbox's I have ever driven. I would not own a none 5 or 6 speed BMW.
