Well, I bought a ES

After a little more talking with the dealer, I opted for a 2002.5 ES w/sport auto. Instead of Emerald Green (sold), I ended up with Sand Mica, my second choice. The options, auto,es premium package, auto dimming mirror, alarm, m/r deflector, cargo net, wheel locks. Everything really except 6 CD in dash changer. I paid 18,535 out the door, tax and plates included. I figure that's a pretty good deal since I took the 0% financing for 60 months.

One thing though, these autosports transmissions are a major pain to find in my area. It took forever.

Great job on the buy! My P5 is my second Mazda and I gotta say that I've been nothing but impressed by the build quality and reliability I've experienced in both my cars.

I think Mazdas are a great, little secret. It's kinda too bad that people are starting to catch on, so the cars are getting more expensive.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed either.

BTW, as [Cruzer] said, what are those tweeters like? I wanna know too so I can pick up a set if they're good!

Yeah I had to have the dealer search for my protege. I wanted silver and the new refresh with the es premium package, but they found it within two weeks. Congrats on the car!

About the tweeters, I don't remember what the stock sound system sounded like without so I can't compare. I can tell you this, I heard nothing wrong with'em The other thing I reallt liked about them was they are flush in the sail panel. On my Civic, they protrude alot so they are very noticable. I like that, sleek

Tonight was the first time I have actually driven the new autosport transmission. First impression, I really like it. My girlfriend can drive the car (auto) and if I want I can shift. The only complaint is, it's still only a 4-speed.

I am glad the Green car sold. I really like the Sand color with the tinted headlight lens. Now all I need is to tint the windows for just the right touch.
