Yes definately a very good choice, even if I am a bit biased.

I think our new rims look great. Honestly, if they were 17's I wouldn't even think about replacing them.

the car rides nice and firm...so i'll probably leave the suspension alone for now

my plans will be very mild at first...all i've done is removed the resonator to free up a little airflow and now can actually hear the engine...later i'm going to adjust the pedals to see if i can do the heel/toe without buying larger pedals

do they have helms manuals for this car?...a tech service manual (chilton's/haynes are too superficial)

what engine mods are there for the 2.0?...are there cam packages or a intake manifolds?...even a bolt on turbo?

but for right now i have a 88 crx si that is my track car so when i want to go really fast i use it (1500lbs & 120whp)...it regularly embarasses big blocks at summit point...now we have the pr5 to haul all the equipment and my wife and kid when we go to the track

i think right now your only choice for service manual is the one from the dealer.... expensive IIRC

for engine mods info, check out the 3rd gen drivetrain/engine mod forum.

holy cow, I just realized you're from NoVa, where are you located exactly? I am in Falls Church. There are quite a few Protege enthusiasts around our area. Do you autox your CRX in addition to track time at Summit Point?

I understand that you can get the full shop manual for our cars from the dealership, but they are quite pricey (i've seen $90-$200 mentioned on here). Do a search on it if you need more info. I know there were some recent posts about it. As for engine mods, there is a fair amount of stuff out there, www.protege5online is a good source of stuff for our cars. Do some searches on here or go to the engine/drivetrain section on here. There is also a forced induction section that will tell you everything you could want to know about the turbo kits out there.

P.S. - Just as a friendly warning, make sure you do searches on here before you post any basic questions or you're gonna catch some hell from the rest of the folks on here.

I've done a couple autox before but like going to the track more often. I will take the pr5 out later this year (maybe at lowes in september) or wait until nov for NASA to come back to summit point

By the way, how did you get 120whp out of your CRX?
