Hey all, anybody have Wynn's Extended Care warranty? I unfortunately have one (was transferred to me when I bought my used P5). This could be a very general question but I'm throwing it out there anyway.

Does anybody here have exprience with Wynn's (or any auto warranty company) where they stubbornly fought you to avoid coverage because you had this one small mod? What was it?

yes, the only way they make money is to deny your claim....no'one is in business to lose money.

reason i asked is i'm planning to replace my struts. i wasn't sure if getting tokicos will be considered a mod and will void the whole warranty on suspension. also want to replace my rotors and fear this will void any break warranty. did these replacements void the warranty for any of you folks?

i agree with the other comment that an ext warranty is a waste of money unless you're maybe a lawyer and know how to talk to and scare a claim rep without cussing.

thanks!

Replacing the struts will not void the warranty on anything but struts....anything else breaks then the dealer would have to prove the part you modified caused the problem in order to not honor a warranty claim

I would think that the struts would be considered a regular maintenance item anyway and would not be covered by the warranty anyway?
