are they relocating the windshield wipper squirters or are they putting them in the stock location.....I think that $550 (with shipping is two rich for my blood anyways, I can get one made for about $350 locally (my friend does custom carbon fiber pieces and said he could do hoods).....Post if anyone wants interior pieces made of carbon fiber...we could get some made up for a good price.

$400 to $550 is the normal price for a carbon fiber hood. But if you can get them for $350, take a pic of it and post it. If it looks as good as the tripoint one, I'm all in. Oh yeah, post pics of any carbon fiber peices you get made, I might buy those too.

Sorry to get a little off topic here, but what is the point of these hoods? OK, they are lighter... is that it? Why would you want a hood that dosent even match the car? Seems silly to me to spend $550 on something that looks lame and serves a very small purpose IMO.

$550 may be normal for a non-honda or acura car I guess, I will try to borrow a digital camera to take some pics of the pieces and i'll post them.

Cool

Yes, Iam interested in the center console trim panels in carbon fiber. I hate that stupid paint that chips if looked wrong. By the way is on a P5.

Regarding why the hood, Just for the looks Its like the Injen and your hyper whites, they really dont do anything. OK maybe 2 hp and 1 candle light more. for $$$. Dont get me wrong I also got the Injen but will go for the real HID!

Alright, getting the buy on the CF hoods back together. Most of you said you would be ready to order in January. So e-mail your name & address & that you are interested in the hood.

What are you talking about? stupid paint that chips if looked wrong? Is that correct? What do you mean by that?

Also, where did you see the center conole trim panels? Are the ones you talking about REAL carbon fiber unlike the stock ones?
