My engine makes a terrible squiky(sp) noise when at idle. But when you open the hood you can't hear it. I am pretty sure it is not a belt orif it is its in the bottom of the engine. Has anyone had this problem or any ideas.

Weird stuff. Try asking the mazda tch about the problem

 

Does the squeak last longer on a cold morning? I don't have this problem but from what you guys are saying it seems like water pump bearings.
