I would invest in one of those little boxes from walmart that is supposed to surpress engine noise. Not sure of the technical term but i'd be willing to bet 99% of your problem is in your wiring.

I've had 3 different stereos in my p5 and not one has engine interference noise.

the rca's are ran dow the passenger side of the car and the power and remote turn on are ran down the driverside.. and the rca's are taped after being pluged in.. I was kinda wondering if it might have somthing to do with my alt???? My rpms have been droping latley when i come up to a light or a stop sign??? it will drop to almost 200rpm then come up. drop agian and then be fine, until the next light??? i have no idea what is causing it??? I was told by a couple shops in town that mazda and for cars are notorious for having bad chassis grounds? not sure if that is true or not.. Where do you guys have your amps grounded to???? Mine is the seat bolt!!! Any help would be great!!!!!

i have mine grounded to a trunk bolt. i say run a ground from the strut or something to test it out and see if it gives any dif results. i know i had whining noises when i had a bad ground and my rcas where run close to the fuel pump.
