Question engine noise con't....

I would also like to add that this 'noise' has nothing to do with whether or not the engine is hot or cold..even after driving it for an hour, upon acceleration, it seems 'rough'...again, my friends ES sounds much smoother upon acceleration....any clue? Mine is a 2001 LX 2.0 with 37, 000 kms....

Cheers,
Brant

That is a tough one. I think you would really have to drive it/feel it to troubleshoot it. It could be CV joints, bearings, exhaust, broken engine mount...

hmmm

thanks for that..it's so hard cause the car still has 1 year left on the powertrain and it makes me wonder if the dealership would really own up the the noise problem and fix it...nonetheless, the bearings are fine....well, i'll keep looking for other responses....thanks DA-P FUNK!
