Service Intervals for p5

Hey guys, i seem to have lost my instruction book for my P5, so i was wondering if you guys could do me a big favor and tell me the service intervals betwen 20,000 and 50,000 miles and the details of each. If its just one of those small "oil change and inspection" ones, you can leave it out. I have like 27,000 miles and it hink i have a big one coming up soon. When do we change our transmission oil?

Thanks a LOT!

tranny should be done at 30K....I did mine at 10K with Synthetic and I'm much happier....it'll go at least 50K before needing to be done again.

At 30K inspect all belts for signs of cracking or shredding, fuel system cleaning (NOT BY THE DEALER or OTC junk), Brakes mic'd for thickness and condition...and R&B.

So i should take it to the dealer for the 30k?
I remember the girl at the dealer telling me i had something major at 27,500 or something....but it coulda just been an oil change.
What do you mean not to have the dealer to my fuel system cleaning?

If you want to know it and don't have your owners manual.. I can email it to you.. ... nothing at 27k... its at 30k.... and I guess its how much you trust your dealership... I had mine done there.. cause I know the people who work on my ride.... but its all personal preference.

i would never go back to the dealer for anything except to purchase a new car. The service department is a rip-off. anything they can do for you, you can have done somewhere else for less than half.

The fuel system cleaning can be done a few ways. For ease of use and repeated treatments I would purchase 1-2 cans of "BG's 44K". This is a gasoline additive that goes through and cleans your fuel system like liquid draino...be sure to replace your fuel filter PRIOR to doing this. BG's 44K isn't some cheap over the counter additive you'd get at Wal-Mart....it's an actual fuel cleaner...I have to purchase it from my Honda dealer. It's what they use to clean the honda's out with....I buy it for $12 a can...they charge $85 for "fuel system cleaning".....see why I say not to go to the dealer??

p.s. If you're just really cheap or can't find the BG's 44K you could try "Berryman's" fuel cleaner....it's an in-tank additive...but be sure to replace the fuel filter FIRST!!

Well I don't get ripped at the dealer .. so that is why I prefer to go there.. PLUS.. I leased my vehicle.. so.. kind of necessary.

Thanks for the response guys. Prote-J, it would be sweet if you could email me the owners manual.
As for the inspections and stuff....they inspect all the belts, does that mean they just look at it and see if it looks normal?
Thanks again!

woops.. didn't mean I'd email you the manual.. just meant I could find you the schedule.. but honestly.. easiest way.. is to go to mazdausa.com... and register with them.. they have a link their for the maintenance schedule.
