Roof rack cross rails....removable?

Roof rack cross rails....removable?

I don't really want to get a PR5 with the roof rack, but my options are getting quite scarce and if I do eventually have to go with one that has a roof rack, can the cross rails be removed or are they fixed?

Yes, they can be removed. There are four pieces that come with the car that are used to coverup where the crossbars were!

not really you're still stuck with the roof-long rails on each side

the crossbars are removable real easy .. but the rails quite a bit of work to get them off

So you're saying that you *can* remove the rails if desired?

What does it involve?
