RCA inputs? Not for an IPOD.

I need RCA inputs in my 02 P5. I'm trying to install a hard drive MP3 player that requires the use of RCA inputs. Rather than follow umpteen million posts that don't really seem to answer my question, I pose it now. Is there some aftermarket adapter/part/frankenstein invention that will put RCA inputs on my stock head unit that doesn't cost the same amount as a new head?

Nope.

There are inputs through the FM tuner though. Not a great solution.

Oh, just buy an aftermarket one! They are pretty cheap and will support an upgrade to amps, etc in the future.

do you have a mp3 player? what i do is use the headphone jack on it, and stick it with a cassette adapter into the stock unit.

I tried to hook up my ipod using rca inputs into the stock head unit, but i couldnt figure it out and no one seemed to know a feasable solution, so i spent the money and got the aftermarket head unit and hooked it up through the aux controls, its definately worth the extra money, but if you do figure it out, let me know cuz i definately couldn't...
