Warranty
Just to be on the safe side always keep the original parts and if you have a warranty repair put the original parts back on and take it in. I know a guy with an MP3 and he does this. They tried to get him because he had painted the manifold or something and they were trying to say it was after market. But when he pointed out the overspray they backed off. I have to put all orgianl parts back on my Jeep just to get it to pass emissions! Except for the exhaust it doesn't play any part in the test.

Yeah I kept all my stock bolts and stuff. I know my service manager pretty well, so unless they can't come up with anything else to fix a problem, he won't make me take it back to factory. And he won't void my warranty either for having my CAI on there. They are pretty cool about it all. I'm lucky to live in a smaller town.

Hey everyone,
I just bought a 2003.5 Protege Mazdaspeed with 5 sp trans. Thinking about getting a cold air intake. A few quick questions.
1. What is the performance improvement? I heard it increases about 10 horses?
2. Injen or AEM better? Does it affect the Mazda warranty?
Thanks....
