I was wondering if this looks like a gimmick, or something thats actually worth getting.

it's a resistor you plug into your IAT sensor. It tricks the ecu into seeing much colder intake temps and thusly dumping excess fuel into the motor.

Our cars are already dangerously rich to begin with.

Well then is it possible to make a setup that will offset the temperature in the other direction to make the motor run slightly leaner? If so, it would increase mpg and HP as a biproduct right? Just a thought.

Doesn't anybody do a search on this forum anymore? We've beaten this one into the ground, along with spark plugs, oil filters, etc.
