Talking New protege 5

Hello peaple . i have been here as a lurker but am now happy to say " i am the proud owner of a lazer blue protege 5".
Before this ,i had a ford taurus(no teasing please) and after the 4th year the damn thing just started to go nuts on me!
All intermitent problems...no power steering( at 130kl) no speedomiter...stuck in first gear..then the next day everything would be fine!! I think it was possesed! Before that i had a 88 pathfinder and i could go on.
I am a 41 year old and the pro 5 will be my 1st sport import .
i will dress it up and after the 4 year warranty is up i will modify it.
I live in toronto so if enyone Knows of some good shops for custom stuff please tell me..........Keep the rubber side down!

Welcome to the club. Have you tried toprotege.com? They are more locally focused than this majority US forum.

Also try a-spec.ca for good Protege tuning and modifications.

Mad macdonald, yes you should definitely check out TOprotege.com. The message board is good place to find local shops or even deals in the for sale area. http://msg.toprotege.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi

hi mad and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

good to have another "OLD TIMER" in the club....and don't wait....MODIFY IT NOW!!!
