if there is a film, is there a really noticable one b/c this is getting me interested in buying one just to try it out. HAHA, my neighbors say the same thing to me b/c they see me washing my car every week and sometimes even twice a week.

the replacement filter is i believe $5 which is supposedly good for 10 washes but that depends on how hard our water is. so not even factoring in the cost of the kit itself ($15), that comes out to $.50 to dry your car per wash. is that a good deal? i mean i can get an obsorber for $8-9 and it provides "unlimited" number of times that you can dry your car. of course you do have to actually dry it. i want to try that autodry thing but i am afraid i'll be disappointed... oh well, i can always return it

I think if you get a film, its because you guys didn't scrub with a sponge or mitt. If you did get a film and you did have a mitt or sponge, try rinsing off the mitt every once and a while so that you won't have any dirt or residue getting back on the car. I used it 3 times so far in the past 2 days and I havn't had any film on my car. Let me know if this helps.
