? about Monster Garage
I was wanting to know if anyone knows if Monster Garage is a repeat tonight. If it is I'm gonna stay at work late. I am absolutely hooked on that show. Last week when they turned that ambulance into a wheelie popper, it was freakin awesome. I would kill to get on that show. Any response would be appreciated!!!

Who cares if they 'win' or not, i don't think that's really the point of the show. I love all the custom fab stuff, I wish I knew how to do half that crap. I think the one tonight is the one with the golf ball picker upper porsche.

used to be better
It used to be better. It used to be JJ and his buddies. All a bunch of hot rod/biker builder misfits having fun. Now they've got such a variance in people it's not as good. BUT i still love it!

monster garage's getting ghey now. today they showed the episode where they converted a PT cruiser into a woodchipper. big whoop-dee-doo.
the only cool thing about the show is seeing the paint masters do their work and make car-show-worthy paint jobs
yeah and have tools as prizes is ghey

Not all of the participants would have a full set of tools, but $3400 of MacTools is probably equivalent to about $500 of Craftsman tools (comparing MAC list prices to Sears sale prices). I'd prefer to just get SAG scale pay (which would be about $2500 for a week's work).
The participants do get some advertising for whatever business they work for.
If you would like to see them fail, next week's show is scheduled to be the one where they don't finish the project (Hearse car-crusher). That one was failed mostly because they tried to power two hydraulic pumps (about 5+hp each) with a bicycle chain.
