Mr. Clean - From the kitchen to the garage!
Hey guys,
I just picked up a starter kit of "Mr. Clean Autodry."
Being that I spend a ton of time caring for my car and her paint, I figured i'd just *try* it. To my surprise, it worked really well! I have a Black Mica P5 and I was shocked to see that the only spots that were left after the wash were on the back bumper!
It's only $18.99 at Autozone and has a $5 rebate. Give it a whirl, it makes washing the car on my lunch hour much easier!
P.S. Make sure that you use a new sponge to wash it with.

the refil soap and filter are supposed to be good for about ten washes while the starter kit they give you is only good for three. I've only used mine once and I was surprised at how well it worked, takes all the stress out of trying to dry the whole thing before spots set in, especially since waterspots if left long enough dont wash off. The soap also worked surpriseingly well at pealing off the bugs is hit driving up Highway 5 at 80+ mph.
Slimy Film?
Are you sure you followed the directions? (Not being a smart ***)
1. Rinse with water (unfiltered)
2. Soap
3. Rinse with water thoroughly(unfltered) *IMPORTANT*
4. Rinse off the unfiltered water with filtered water starting from top of car, going down.
I don't mind the big *** gun. My neighbors already think I'm retard because I wash my car all the time, even when it is 40 degrees out.
Make sure that you use the right soap too, other soaps won't work.

ya, i got myself one of those mr clean things.. it's awesome. it really does dry spotless.
i too thing the gun is way too big.. i will probably end up just washing my car, then using the mr clean to spot-free rinse it only.

slime?
I didnt have a problem with any film or residue on the windows or paint, then again I waxed mine after i washed it. Just use the recommended soap and the recommended amount and it works fine for our small cars, now washing the suburban may be another story...

I think I am going to give it a whirl now
