Dude, I work with a guy that drives a 2001 RT Neon. Nothing done to the car except... ... stickers. Lets see if I can get this right. The car is white w/ 1 silver shark decal on each side, both of which are eating a smaller decal of a fish. The back window, a large red sticker of the dodge ram emblem. Seat covers, first they were a really gay flower design; now they're white fur. Oh, can't forget the bouncing hula girl on the dash. He is one of those guys that thinks he knows everything about cars but doesn't know jack. The kind of guy that would make you want to kick his antdrop: the second you saw him. It's all about the RT though.

there was a rumor (still believed) about the neon engine, beiing from mitsubishi.Thats why you see all thoses asses with mitsubishi stickers all over their neons. But they are totally wrong, since everything on a neon is american,(it explains a lot of flaws),flesh and bone.Nothing is from mitsubishi on that byatch. At least the car is quite fast, lets forgive its flaws..I have a friend whose brother has a bone stock neon, forest green (yuk) with nothing else than clear taillights. He thinks he's cool with no other mods??WTF he has wheel covers and 13 inches rims!!!!hahaha!!!Thats ugly. At least my neon had mods to fit the looks..Anyways,I'm starting to forget about it so lets never talk about neons anymore.Never.Please.

The Neon will be a Mitsubishi product in the future though it is not currently.

I just sold my 96 sohc base model neon. I can vouch for its performance. That car hauled ***. I had done all the bolt-ons except the PCM and it could smoke most everything in its class including some in the next class up(stock mustang,v6 accord, previous gen-maxima, etc.) But I had reached that point where I wanted to compete against the big boys(GT, Firebird, etc) and that car was not worth sinking more money into. I can't vouch for the quality(it was a POS). It gave us nothing but trouble for 5 years we owned it.

BTW, as a side note. The new BMW mini is going to be Dodge sourced engine from the south American 1.8l Neon. So....think twice before you considering buying it.

UGH! I went up to the Mazda dealer in my area (Cincinnati, OH) and they are sooo retarded; only one guy there knew about the mazdaspeed Protege and he was like whoa how does this guy know about it already (note link: http://www.mazdausa.com/mazdaspeed/) So I asked if I could put a deposit on one (pre-order) and he was like we aren't doing that *cries* he did however take my name and said (can't quote though) that they are hoping for 2 or 3 to come in and he'd call me when they do *cheers*

I know how you feel, same thing happened to me when we went to our local V-dub/Mazda dealership and was asking about the anniversary edition 337 Gti, everyone was like "uhhh, the what?"
Grrrrr....
Congratulations though, from the sound of it you'll be the first person on their call list!

Talking Dude!

Dude! What's up with the Red Mazda6 in the first picture!? It looks like that particular color only comes in the "half a car" option! When I buy a car I want the whole thing, personally! I guess half a car would only cost half as much to maintain, though. Maybe this is the budget version of the 6...

Heheheheh...
