I just realized my username is suposed to be GeTCrAzYKiD. Oh, well. But yeah I'm down in Ft. Lauderdale. I've been looking to find a used one, but havn't seen any of them come in yet, looks like there better cars than I thought. I cant find to many aftermarket mod's for them either. Anyone else know of where I can find them? I'm in the middle of a V8 RX-7 project, and will sell to anyone at the right price. I dont dis the rotary engine at all but it the power to weight that got me. 13's out the box with a 5.0 is good enough for me. Cant wait to see what it does with 150 shot . When is the next Import showcase or something up in Moroso? I'm looking for a sponsor, ran outa money. lol

A V8 in an RX-7?!! It's an original idea, but it just doesn't belong. Besides, RX-7's can make enormous amounts of power out of the b16. Why change it?

sac·ri·le·gious ( P ) Pronunciation Key (skr-ljs, -ljs)
adj.
1. Grossly irreverent toward what is or is held to be sacred.
2. Having committed sacrilege

V8 in rx-7 is sacrilegious. And the the 7's has the 13b, and also i beleive the 13b-rew. Many people have been able to get over 1000hp out of those puppies. It's just not worth the extra weight of a V8 when you can get sooo much more power outta the rotary pound for pound.

hello crazy kid and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

V8 in an RX-7
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

what u doing????

the greatest asset of the RX-7 is its rotary engine!!!!

yeah well i know some people have done swaps liek those.... but me, ima rotor head!!!!
AND nothing can compare to the RX-7, well nothing can compare to the FD, and almost nothing can compare to the FC

well u see... if i had a viper, or anyother sports car, that was piston powered, (and thats only if for some reason i couldn't get an RX-7) i would swap out that piston motor, and put a 13b-rew into it, maybe even a 13bt

and kakarot... i'll just call u goku, it ain't the b16, thats honda, not mazdas' beautiful 13b rotary

yeah, and the rotary can make GOBS n GOBS of power!!!! hehe, sorry for getting so much away form the original topic.... now carry on everyone... lets get back on topic

Yeah I know. I've committed a sin too. Mixing up the almighty 13b with a POS Honda engine.
