Ok, there is only about 2000 being made right? Anyone know how many coming to Canada.

Here is a semi-long winded story for you all. I buy the 2003 buyers guide. I knew about the MSP before but there it is again and i see they are only making 2000. I go into my local dealership....here is the conversation.

Me:"Hi how are you"
Them:"Good, what can i do for you"
Me:"I want to know about the Mazdaspeed Protege"
Them:"Mazda what?"
Me:"The Mazdaspeed Protege...the Turbo Protege?"
Them:"You mean the RX-8?"
Me:"No, not the NON-TURBO RX-8, the 170hp PROTEGE"
Them:"No thats just a rumor, isnt happening"
Me:"Its all over the net and it is in the 2003 buyers guide"
Them:"We arent getting one"
Me:****Frustrated Beyond Belief****

 

Typical car salesman, doesn't have a clue and tries to convince the customer they're wrong. Frustrates the hell out of me.

Only select dealers will be picked to sell and service them. I believe there will be 1500 sold in the US and 500 in Canada.
