I contacted at least 10 Mazda dealers in the Baltimore and Southern Pennsylvania and none of them stock the Mazda speed Protege.

Where else should I look? Out of state? Which state?

You can check dealer inventories at MazdaUSA.com. I'd imagine that would be a lot easier and faster than calling the all up and asking.

As far as where to find one, I don't know. Sorry. None of the dealerships around here have any left either.

I like the MS Pros 2003.5 bumper, I just can't stomach the H/Ls

I checked out the FAQs for the bumpers, I also found the MintBlue kit and am still deciding if I like it, it's a bit much for my tastes...I like suttle (sp?) and the MintBlue kit isn't the least bit!

I am having trouble finding a bumper I like, the 2003.5 MS Pro bumper has big holes and a very aggressive look but it is also cleanly done and reminds me of the current front end on a 911 Porsche (my ultimate dream ).

For my lowly '99 I think I still like the Corksport style (with the '99-'00 style H/Ls)

At this point, I had given up looking for a dealer that has a Mazda Speed Protege. Just could not find one in our area. Perhaps it is wise to just wait till next year sometime around Spring and then inquire again to dealerships. For the meantime, I will have to drive my old car for now.

Gounded Dimensions....

I see you live in the Georgia area. A little too far for me to be looking around your neck of the woods. I'm over here in the PA. area near the MD. PA. line.

Good luck on your next try. It looks like this Mazda Speed Protege is going to be a hard car to find.

No dealer in the northeast has any Mazdaspeeds yet. My dealer in DE just checked with some other dealers. Some of them had VINs and had cars coming in, but none of them have cars yet.

So, this would be the reason you can't find any.

I saw what I thought was a MS Ptotege, but I am not sure now. It was yellow and had a wing about 5 inches tall that looked like a smaller version of a 2000 Cobra R wing. had 17s and a nameplate on the back that said MP3. I thought the MP3s only came in Blue.

I was just wondering the odds that the 2003.5 might be offered with a sunroof option. Also how come the sunroof is not an option on the original release? is it a weight issue? IMO a sunrook is worth it's weight in gold. Don't know if I could buy a new car without one.
