Cool K&N Drop in Filter

I just washed and reoiled my k&N drop in filter. After installing again I noticed a major increase in acceleration over the stock paper. I smoked a 2001
civic, which was suped up with a bodykit. He was on my tail , all the way home. His ride looked sweet but he was afraid to turn it on. I wonder if the AEM short ram would be even better than the drop in. Its very expensive, comsidering I live in Canada
