im not sure if i blew the switch or not but after finishing the mod i had put a 20 amp fuse in the spot because i kept blowing 10amp fuses then i guess 2 wires touched and it shorted since i had not covered them yet. (i was stupid). but anyway i heard a pop then there was smoke coming from the area where the fog light switch is. so i made sure there wasnt a fire then wraped everything up and now my fogs only work with my ambers. they dont work with my lows and they dont work with my highs. also my gauges and my lights for the climate control dont light up. every thing else works. i dont think though that its a fuse because i checked all of the ones under the hood and by my left foot in the cabin area.

if anyone has had this happen to them or even has an idea to what went wrong and might know how to fix it please let me know asap because i cant see how fast im going or what rpm im at, let alone how much gas i have at night.

yea i did this mod aswell and popped my switch and also thought i fried my relay but i rewired it back to stock and decided not to **** with it

 

if its the relay how much is that gonna run me for a new one?

 

i think when i called mazda it was 50 bucks
